Just a thought

Is it alright to say that "I don’t like to have a girlfriend any time soon ’cause I don’t want to be tied down while I still want to be free"? Or is it just a lame(?) excuse to distance yourself from possible pains you may experience while loving someone? …

well, in my opinion, it’s perfectly alright to say this. not all people have that desire and feel that ‘pressure’ (?) to be committed to anybody. my older sister is one perfect example.

the only thing wrong here is when you don’t mean what you say. then it really becomes an excuse, a way to not acknowledging one’s fear (”from possible pains you may experience while loving someone”).

sometimes, though, there are people who consider being ‘tied down’ a way of obtaining freedom: freedom from being restrained by other fears (fear of not being able to love.naks).

    it’s up to the person..

    (yii.. parang gusto kong magtanong.)
