This place…

Monday, October 30th, 2006

Well, a couple of days more to go and it’s back to school. Haaay.. I actually had fun here in Baguio. And I think I’ll miss this place a lot when I get back to Manila. Here are some reasons why:

1. The cool weather, the trees and the steamy baths - Baguio nga eh… malamig talaga. Especially now that the cool season’s coming again. And smell,I love that fresh pine scent in the morning. The steamy baths? Haha.. dito lang ako nakakapagpainit ng paligo ano… not to mention the steam after taking a bath… para bang… langit (corny).

2. My family - I guess being away from them for a while has its own benefits: I now seldom fight (brutally) with my sister, mom is nicer to me, and my older brother (kahit medyo icky) cherishes me a lot more. Distance isn’t so bad after all. Speaking of my sister, do you know that she’s the only one who can make me psycho (as in baliw to the max). As I tease her, I usually cross the sane line and go on laughing (mad scientist ba) and screaming (mentally retarded like) na para bang mamamatay tao… hehehe… beware… watch out for my other self.

3. Barkada - old friends are still friends. Who wouldn’t enjoy partying with them, listening to their latest stories and happenings, appreciating their achievements… and just being with them. They’re great friends (even for those I’ve shut my life out). Friends forever guys.(",)

4. Food - Gulay/ Veggies/ Damo for some people I know. I wouldn’t miss this kind of food if it weren’t for the dishes they serve in the dorm. Most of the time (if not always), the food served would be chicken, beef or pork (and some derivatives). Hey, what can I do, taga-Baguio ako, gulay-ish person ako! What’s ironic is that the name of our food concessionaire(tama ba spelling?) is Herb’s Cafe. Asaan ang HERBS na niluluto niyo aber?????

5. Baguio itself - I can’t believe that I once despised Baguio (because of various reasons). ‘Guess I was wrong. I can never hate this place forever… for all the good it has done for me…

6. TV - Animax, Hero, Cartoon Network, Disney, and Nick!!!! TEEEEEEEEVEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Enjoy the last days of our vacation…

Hibernation

Friday, October 27th, 2006

I consider myself hibernating when I’m in Baguio… haha. Well, my hibernation is quite the opposite of that of animals.

When autumn brings its chilly winds, animals actively hunt for food just to fatten themselves up. Then they’d hibernate from winter to spring. After their long sleep, most probably they would have lost a great deal of weight. right?

Well, as for me, during my active phase, as in when I rig my head for school, I usually get thinner. And when I’m in my hibernating phase, that is during sembreaks and summer vacations, I usually fatten myself up without even knowing it.

HAha.. so why am I saying nonsense things? Wala lang… bwahahahahahahahaha

Hello Baguio

I hated this place once, but now it’s making me smile. Probably because of the people, the food, the weather, the tv? haha… I feel relaxed!

So I’m Wasting my time…

End na ng sem guys… Hay, it’s been a rough year for me.

hmm…

1. Huwag matulog ng buong gabi - ‘di dahil sa acads - no pressure

2. Pumapak ng isang supot ng asukal

3. Huwag kumain buong araw

4. Ngumiti buong araw

5. Maging masaya buong linggo

6. Simutin ang ulam na isda

7. Huwag gumastos (asa!)

8. Matulog na nakatayo

9. Maglakad na nakapikit ang mata (2 mins)

10. Maligo sa tubig na may ICE!

Hehe.. trips.. Happy Sembreak to all (",)

AHRGGGGHHH!!!!!!!!!

I had these three exams yesterday and 2 of them were, how do I say this, "mournful".

The first was my chem practicals. This is THE WORST exam I ever took. I reviewed all night only to realize (it too late) at 8am that I suck at 2 min/station, move-type exams. In every station, I must have spent 1min understanding the instructions and the other minute stuttering, spilling and flunking. I can’t think that fast!

Then I had my Chem Lec. I felt like my system crashed… But I eventually regained some of my composure (thank God) before more damage was done. I do hope my "effort" got me somewhere… desirable.

My math was probably my calmest exam. But not because the exam was easy. I was so wasted at that time I couldn’t care less if the exam was frustrating or not.

And today, I had my practicals in my Bio Lab… Again, It was… deadly. Why do they have to use decomposing frogs???!!! When we did the dissections before, we had freshly caught, freshly opened and freshly…umm…fresh frogs. Well, what I’m trying to say is that, it seems the decomposing frog has a different anatomy as the freshly killed frog! I can’t really Identify something I don’t know. God, I’m really frustrated.

O well… AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!
