Days rise and days fall

In this sea so dull and still

In here I stand centered

Bored on this barren hill

I walk down the same old street

with same old people and same old beat

same faces though some have been replaced

same old conflicts that go to waste

I climb the mountains with all my will

I, however have lost all thrill

On top, I see the river below

But sadly, the same empty stories flow

Even in God’s presence, I struggle to see

The happiness he’s shown clearly

And though I tried, I failed miserably

Maybe that’s why He’s punishing me?

But still I’m hoping the world will change

Even if it’s in a boring stage

My time will come when I can do something instead

But ’til that time, I’ll just enjoy my comfortable bed..
